This is just a quick preview of what's to come from Margaret Anne and Hannah's headshot session yesterday.

The Ultimate Fall Treat
Yesterday was a crazy day.
Brad and I woke up, cooked breakfast, headed to downtown Pittsburgh, walked around a bit and enjoyed the amazing fall colors, went to Heinz Field, watched the Steelers WIN IT in the last minutes, came home around 5pm, took the dogs for a jog in Frick Park, ran by the grocery store, and then finally made it home to relax at about 7:30.
And at 7:30 as we came inside from such a cool, sunny, wonderful, fall Pittsburgh day, the only thing I wanted was something warm and sweet to finish it off. Aaaaand I knew just the thing.
This pumpkin bread is amazing - crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Mmm...

Steelers Day!
This morning at 8:47am, Turk jumped into our bed, sniffed my face, turned 2 circles on top of me, and then settled in for a Sunday morning nap. Usually I wake up enough to push him to the middle of the bed and go back to sleep for a few minutes. However, this morning I didn't. I woke up and thought "STEELERS DAY!"
Our sweet friends gave us tickets to the Steelers/Vikings game today at 1:00, and we actually have the entire day off to soak it in. We made eggs and bacon for breakfast, and now we're putting on our gold and black and heading downtown to enjoy the day. It's 46 degrees and SUNNY, and we couldn't be more excited.
So, my photo of the day: our pre-game food. Let's go Pittsburgh!!

Happy Friday everyone! Since I am trying to be a better blogger and post something every day, I wanted to show you a preview of what I've been working on this morning... Leighanna and Shawn's wedding.
I love these two shots: the first by Brad during the ceremony (again hiding in the choir loft with the 200mm) and the second by me during their first dance. Gotta love that backlighting!

Melissa and John's engagement photos!
It's officially FALL in Pittsburgh! So, for Melissa and John's engagement session, we went to North Park to take advantage of the beautiful colors!
I absolutely loved this engagement session because not only are Mel and John wonderful, but so is their dog Lucy! And, they brought her along for some photos. Also, John used to be a professional baseball player, so they brought a ball and gloves to use in their photos. I love the creativity!
Mel and John are getting married next October at beautiful Seton Hill Chapel, and we are so excited to be part of it! Thanks again guys. It was a blast...

Melissa and AJ: engaged!
Melissa and AJ are engaged to be married next fall, and we completed their Pittsburgh engagement photos last weekend at Duquesne University, the place where they met in pharmacy school and where they will be married on October 9th, 2010!
This was my first time on Duquesne's campus, and I was totally amazed by how beautiful it is, tucked away just behind downtown Pittsburgh! There were lots of bright fall trees, lots of beautiful blue skies, and lots of wonderful city views.
Thanks again Melissa and AJ for everything. I can't wait unitl the big event next year! :)

Jen and Todd: Pittsburgh Wedding Photography
Jen and Todd were married a few weeks ago at Hebron Church and Longvue Country Club, and Brad and I were honored to be part of it! The whole day was truly beautiful, and I was reminded that there is no time like early fall for a wedding. The weather was cool and colorful, and friends and family were kind and warm.
